I started my weekly residency at The Eagle two years ago and, one hundred Friday nights later, it seemed like a good excuse to celebrate this innings (and the last Friday before going home for Christmas). Like the most diligent scorer, carefully annotating LBWs, sixes and maiden overs, I’ve recorded every set I’ve played and, for one night only, I’ll be padding up for a trip down memory lane. I’ve picked one track from every Friday night session and plan to play all one hundred, in chronological order, for your listening pleasure.
Expect an alternative snapshot of the last two years in music; an eclectic selection of electro, pop, Motown, indie, hip hop, bootlegs, downtempo and funk. On my very first Friday night, I played ‘Dream On’ by Christian Falk featuring Robyn and, two years later, it’s now in the charts. In another hundred Fridays, perhaps current favourites The Molotovs, Kidda, or School Of Seven Bells will be stars, or Tim And Sam’s Tim And The Sam Band With Tim And Sam will score a number one.

Are you about to show us the extent of your cricketing knowledge?
