Corbet Place is special. Sneakily hidden behind two unassuming wooden doors in a brick wall, the venue has been around for two years, hosting some exceptionally riotous parties, private events, a few secret gigs, exhibitions, film shoots and designer sales. Inside, Corbet Place is spacious, airy and comfortable but, for the summer, there’s also a nice, big terrace and even a secret garden.

FROM [old] SHOREDITCH STATION
1. Walk south down Brick Lane.
2. When you reach Café 1001, turn right into Dray Walk.
3. Walk past Rough Trade East and the Big Chill Bar on your right.
4. At the end of Dray Walk, you should be able to see a double decker bus on the far side of an open, carparky area.
5. To the left of the bus, there are tables and chairs on the terrace outside Corbet Place.
6. To the left of the terrace, in the corner, is the entrance to Corbet Place.
7. You’re here - splendid.

FROM ALDGATE EAST

1. Walk north up Commercial Street.
2. Walk past Spitalfields Market on your left.
3. When you reach Hanbury Street, turn right.
4. Half way along Hanbury Street, turn left into Wilkes Street.
5. It’s an open, carparky area and doesn’t look much like a street. If it’s not obvious, Wilkes Street continues south opposite the entrance and, if you reach Brick Lane before turning left, you’ve gone too far.
6. Walk straight ahead and, after 50ish metres, you should be able to see a double decker bus on your left.
7. To the left of the bus, there are tables and chairs on the terrace outside Corbet Place.
8. To the left of the terrace, in the corner, is the entrance to Corbet Place.
9. You’re here - splendid.
